What this actually is

From the Classroom
to the Stage...

In Just 5 Days.

Students learning guitar in the VIP Studios classroom
Mon – Thu
Classroom Instruction & Stage Rehearsal
Instrument lessons, music theory, songwriting, and daily band rehearsals on the live stage.
Teen band performing live on the VIP Studios stage
Friday Afternoon
Live Showcase Performance
Fully amplified. Real stage. Real audience. Every camper performs in front of family and friends.
The Big Moment ★

Every morning, campers work with professional instructors in small groups — learning their instrument, studying the music, and building the skills they need. Every afternoon, those skills move to the live stage where the band comes together.

By Wednesday the songs are taking shape. By Thursday the band sounds like a band. And on Friday afternoon, families fill the room, the stage lights come up, and your teen performs a full live set — fully amplified, in front of an audience, for real.

That Friday performance is what RockStar Summer Camp is built around. The classroom and the stage are both part of how we get there.

Your head instructor
Andre Correa — Head Instructor, RockStar Summer Camp
Berklee College of Music Graduate

Andre Correa

Head Instructor & Music Director · RockStar Summer Camp

Andre is a Brazilian guitarist, composer, and music educator with over a decade of experience teaching students of all ages — from first-time beginners to advanced musicians. He holds a Guitar Performance degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston, the most prestigious music school in the world, and a Music Education degree from Faculdade Nazarena do Brasil.

His teaching is guided by the FCA Method — Foundation, Connection, Application — a system he developed to help students move beyond mechanical practice and develop a genuine musical voice. At RockStar Camp, Andre oversees every session: curriculum design, band formation, song selection, instructor coordination, and Friday showcase direction.

Berklee College of Music · Boston Guitar Performance Degree — the most recognized music education credential in the world.

Why RockStar

Not a Franchise.
Not a Classroom.
Not a Recital.

Three things make this camp fundamentally different from every other music program in Central Florida.

01
A Real Professional Stage
VIP Studios' live-stage band rehearsal room is a professional performance environment — real amps, real acoustics, real PA system. Not a cafeteria. Not a classroom with a microphone. Campers rehearse and perform on the same kind of stage working musicians use. That difference is felt from day one, and it's why our Friday showcases sound nothing like school recitals.
02
Maximum 20 Campers
Franchise camps can run 40, 60, 80 campers. Your teen becomes a face in the crowd. At RockStar, we cap every session at 20 campers — with an ideal of 12. Instructors know every camper's name, skill level, and goals by Monday afternoon. Individual attention isn't a marketing phrase here. It's a structural commitment built into how the camp works.
03
Rock. Only Rock.
We don't teach every genre to every age. We teach rock — in all its forms — to teens who love rock. The curriculum, repertoire, instructors, and culture are all built around one genre. The result is an authenticity that a multi-genre, multi-age program can never replicate. A teen who loves Linkin Park or AC/DC walks into a room built for exactly them.

"Fantastic space — really welcoming and well set up! It had everything your band could possibly need. I'm a drummer and I didn't even have to bring any gear (huge plus), and the sound quality was crisp and clear!"

Before you register

Questions Answered.

Still not sure? Here's everything parents ask before registering.

Does my teen need experience?
Not at all. Complete beginners are welcome — and make up a significant portion of campers every session. Our instructors are trained to meet students exactly where they are and build skills fast. By Friday, even true beginners are performing on a real stage with their band. It still surprises parents every single week.
Do they need to bring an instrument?
No. VIP Studios provides professional-grade guitars, bass guitars, drum kits, keyboards, and full amplification for every camper who needs them — at no extra charge. Campers who own instruments are welcome to bring them, but it's never required.
What exactly happens on Friday?
The Friday showcase is a real rock show — not a recital. Doors open at 1:30 PM, performances begin at 2:00 PM. Every band performs fully amplified for an audience of parents, siblings, and friends. The event is filmed and highlight reels are shared within 48 hours. It's non-competitive — every camper performs, every camper gets their moment on stage.
Can my teen attend more than one session?
Absolutely — and we encourage it. Each session has a completely different theme, song list, and repertoire. A camper attending Classic Rock Week and Punk Week gets two entirely different experiences. Multi-session campers receive $25 off each additional session.
What is drop-off and pick-up like?
Drop-off is between 8:45–9:00 AM at the VIP Studios entrance where a staff member signs your camper in. Pick-up is at 3:00 PM sharp. Only individuals listed as authorized on the registration form may pick up a camper — photo ID required. Campers are never released to an unauthorized individual.
How are medical needs handled?
All medical information is collected during registration and kept strictly confidential. A first aid kit is on-site at all times. In any medical emergency, staff call 911 immediately and contact parents. Campers with EpiPens or emergency medications should carry them every day. Please disclose all conditions on the registration form so we can prepare.
What is the refund and cancellation policy?
The $100 deposit is refundable only if camp cannot be held. Cancellations more than 14 days before a session receive a full refund of tuition paid beyond the deposit. Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable, though session credits may be offered at the owner's discretion. If VIP Studios cancels a session, a full refund is issued.
Can my teen continue after summer?
Yes — VIP Studios offers private lessons year-round in all five instrument tracks. Camp alumni receive 20% off their first month of fall lessons. Our long-term vision is to grow RockStar into a full year-round music school, and our summer campers are the heart of that community.
